Fiona Tuikolovatu is a volunteer leader and teacher of children in her Latter-day Saint congregation in New Zealand. She is excited for the children in her area and around the world to experience this event.
“Not only is this programme put together by our General Primary presidency leaders, but it is also driven, hosted and put in such a fun way for our Primary children to be involved with learning more about our Saviour Jesus Christ and His gospel,” she said.
Tuikolovatu said she loves how this event unites children all over the world. “I’m excited to see our children learn together. They will be able to do this through music and many more fun activities and most importantly, what I love is how they will learn the meaning of coming to follow our Saviour.”
A Facebook invite for the event encourages people to join for messages made specifically for children and says it will “help children feel the love of their Heavenly Parents and Jesus Christ.”
The event will be broadcast on the Church’s website and will be available in American Sign Language (ASL), Cantonese, English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Mandarin, Portuguese, Russian, and Spanish. It will be available later this year in Tongan, Samoan and Fijian.
The event will also be on Gospel Library, and Gospel Media any time after the initial release.
