The general women’s session, the first of six sessions, was held Saturday, September 23, 2017, at the LDS Conference Center in Salt Lake City.

Messages of spiritual guidance and inspiration on topics related to the gospel of Jesus Christ were shared with the 21,000 women and girls who filled the Conference Center.

Women, young women and girls ages 8 and older were invited to attend in person or to watch a live broadcast online or in local meetinghouses.

Those of other faiths are also invited to participate.

Nine women were added to the women's and children's boards and will work with the general presidencies to help meet the global needs of the Church.

Susan Seamons, an American women residing in Auckland, New Zealand commented, "I was reminded of my responsibility to be articulate as to why I believe in Jesus Christ and why I belong to His church."

When asked what message she took away from the conference, Shilo a young woman from Auckland replied, "Integrity is more powerful than visibility."
