Tongan Woman Called to Serve in Worldwide Children's Organisation

In the recent worldwide semiannual women's conference of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Tongan woman, Salote Tukuafu was called to the general board of the Primary organisation, a global organisation for children ages 18 months to 11 years. 

        

Salote currently owns her own catering business in Salt Lake City, Utah.  She and her husband, Suliasi, have four children and four grandchildren.

She will assist the presidency of the Primary organisation to help meet the global needs of the Church.

Primary was established to help the children of the Church learn and understand the gospel of Jesus Christ.
