Church Leaders Welcomed to Tonga

Leaders from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints visited Tonga this week.

Elder K. Brett Nattress of the Seventy and Second Counselor in the Pacific Area Presidency; Sister Bonnie H. Cordon, Young Women General President, and her husband Derek Cordon; and Sister Joy D. Jones, Primary General President, and her husband Robert Jones were greeted by Tongan Latter-day Saints when they arrived on Thursday 15 November.

  

Area Seventy, Elder 'Aisake Tukuafu and his wife Sister Lose Tukuafu; Mission President Sione Tuione and his wife Sister Moala Tuione; together with a few local young women of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints were at the Fua'amotu International Airport in Tonga to greet the visitors.

Each of the honoured guests were welcomed and presented with a beautifully crafted lei, in keeping with Tongan tradition.
