The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints held a conference at the Rowandale stake centre in Manurewa, South Auckland on 27 August 2023 focused on strengthening faith in Jesus Christ for individuals and families.
Auckland Redoubt Stake leader, President Joe Fatuleai, welcomed guests, Dr. Anae Neru Leavasa, Member of Parliament for Takanini; Daniel Newman, Auckland Councillor for Manurewa-Papakura ward; Matt Winiata, Deputy Chairperson for the Manurewa local board; and Joseph Allan, Manurewa local board member.
At a luncheon with stake leaders and guests after the conference, several expressed gratitude for the messages of faith at the conference and encouragement to serve one another in our homes and communities.
Dr. Anue Neru Leavasa said about the conference: “Loved the discussions about service and especially the theme about strengthening one’s faith…encourages me with my faith in the Lord to keep going—whatever the challenges. Thank you for all that you do for our community.”
