#LIGHTtheWORLD: Day 4 in the Pacific

Elder Robert J. Dudfield, a leader in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, met with members and guests of the Church in Honiara, Solomon Islands yesterday.

Elder Dudfield said "it was a joy to worship God the Father with the wonderful people of the Solomon Islands, particularly on the Sabbath."

He added, "We talked about the 'Light the World' Christmas initiative, and it was humbling to hear of many people's experiences reaching out to others in Christ-Like ways over this Christmas season."

Latter-day Saints in Solomon Islands are hosting a "Light the World" Christmas devotional which will include videos, music and inspirational messages for people of every faith. This is to allow those with no or limited Internet access to participate in the Christmas initiative.

The devotional will be held Friday, 23 December at 5:00 p.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints' district centre in Honiara. All are welcome at the free devotional.
