Elder Byron Green, 19, is a missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints serving in the Australia Sydney Mission. He is from Mudgeeraba in South-east Queensland.
Elder Green described the experience of meeting Elder Dieter F. Uchtdorf earlier this month as “a tender mercy.”
He said he was grateful for the opportunity to learn from Elder Uchtdorf and “hear him testify of our Saviour Jesus Christ.”
“Elder Uchtdorf reminded us all that we were ‘all enough,’ and when we are on the Lord’s side it doesn't matter who is against us, we will always come out on top. That statement often replays in my head as I go about striving to spread the gospel and share the same spirit with the world that Elder Uchtdorf lovingly shared with us that day.”
