Christmas lights have returned to the grounds and surrounds of the Hamilton New Zealand Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints after a four year break due to the temple’s recent renovations.
On Saturday evening, 10 December, Elder K. Brett Nattress, Pacific Area President of the Church, turned on the lights for the first time this Christmas season.
Elder Nattress reminded guests at Temple View that the lights, as beautiful as they are, are symbols of the light of the world, Jesus Christ.
He invited Hamilton residents and visitors to the area to come to Temple View this Christmas to enjoy the lights and to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ.
