The First Presidency of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has announced that the Suva Fiji Temple will be closed for renovation beginning 13 October 2014.
Following the renovation, the temple will be rededicated. The renovation will improve air conditioning operations and refresh all finishes with some slight modifications. It is expected that the renovation will take at least 14 months.
Other temples in the Pacific Area will accommodate Suva Fiji Temple patrons during the closure.
