Samoa Observer: 'LDS Charities Lends Helping Hand to Disability Centre'

"The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (L.D.S.) Charities donated kitchen and vocational studies equipment to assist the Loto Taumafai Society National Disability Centre," the Samoa Observer reported recently.

The article continued: "Held at the centre’s hall at Vaitele on Monday [1 April], LDS Charities representative Elder Scott Cameron said the purpose of donation is to help those in need.

“It’s about helping the children who are disadvantaged and setting examples of Jesus’s teaching by assisting everyone despite their race, color, and religion," Elder Cameron told the newspaper.

“It was through the love of Jesus Christ that people all over the world donated to the humanitarian fund which is where the donation is from."
