Elder Jeremy Jaggi, a member of the Pacific Area Presidency of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, who attended with his wife, Sister Amy Jaggi, and friends said, “Christmas is a time to gather, to remember, to give thanks, and to serve one another. It is a time of joy.”

He added, “We are grateful for the Auckland Town Hall management and staff, for the Auckland Symphony Orchestra, for the singers and musicians, and those who led them. Many of those who shared their talents and their faith with us tonight are members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. We thank them, as well as all others, who made tonight such a joyous and uplifting experience, including the members of the audience who added their smiles, voices, and goodwill to the occasion.

“I believe the angels in heaven rejoice when we on earth gather to sing and play sacred songs, heralding the birth of Jesus Christ. Together, we are sharing good tidings of great joy and helping share Jesus Christ’s light around the world.”
