Tania Torea, of Porirua, New Zealand along with Alan and Wendy Thacker, full-time missionaries for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the New Zealand Wellington Mission, recently attended an event with members of the Baha’i faith.
"It is always a delight to meet with our Baha'i friends and celebrate shared principles of faith in God and kindness to all humanity,” Mrs Torea said.

From the earliest days of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Joseph Smith elevated the principle of religious liberty and tolerance: ‘We claim the privilege of worshiping Almighty God according to the dictates of our own conscience, and allow all men the same privilege, let them worship how, where, or what they may’ (Articles of Faith 1:11).”
