New Zealand media organisation Stuff.co.nz reported this week on the announcement that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints will build a temple in Auckland.
The report noted that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints "plans to build a temple in Auckland–its second one in New Zealand."
The article continued: "President Russell Nelson of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints announced the build during the church's general conference in Utah in the United States. It was one of 12 new temples planned around the world, including in Argentina, Nigeria and Cambodia.
"The church's Auckland public affairs office said it was not known where in the region the temple would be built, or in what time frame."
