Mormon Missionaries Support School Children in the South Pacific

Missionaries from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints supported local charity Furniture for Schools Charitable Trust last week by packing furniture into a shipping container bound for a school in the South Pacific.

The furniture was donated by Murrays Bay Intermediate School in Auckland. You can read more from stuff.co.nz here.

Furniture for Schools Charitable Trust works with New Zealand schools, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, national ministries of education and other partners to bring school furniture and other equipment to students and teachers in Pacific Island communities.

Latter-day Saint missionaries regularly give community service in cities and towns throughout New Zealand, and worldwide.
