One week a year Massey University holds “spirituality week” to help expose students to a variety of religious beliefs of people around the world. Missionaries and students from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints were there again this year to share their beliefs.
Mormons have been in the spotlight for a few years. From Broadway to musicians, actors and politicians, the name “Mormon” comes up quite regularly these days. This may have caused some questions about what Mormons actually believe.
Students and missionaries used this opportunity (8-12 May) to share what Mormons believe: modern prophets, temples, family history, service and self-reliance, to name just a few.
