LDS Charities, a humanitarian arm of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, recently donated 15 wheelchairs to the Mary Potter Hospice in Wellington.
Representatives from LDS Charities—Hans Sorensen, Sister Ralene Bills and Elder Don Bills—attended a hand-over presentation at the hospice on 31 May along with local Latter-day Saint leaders Peter Thomson and Tania Torea, and hospice staff.

According to the LDS Charities website, one of the organisation's missions is to "improve mobility, health, and the educational economic opportunities for people with physical disabilities."
