New Zealand Saints Join with Friends to ‘Light the World’ with Music this Christmas
The Auckland Symphony Orchestra was supported by local Latter-day Saints and other singers and performers to bring a festive and holy experience to guests at the historic venue. Empowering the Visually Impaired Community in Tonga
Tonga National Visual Impairment Association (TNVIA) is a beacon of hope for the visually impaired in Tonga. This non-profit organization is dedicated to promoting inclusion and independence for those with visual impairments. On Friday, 29 November 2024, radio listeners across all of Papua New Guinea heard something they’d never heard before: A General Authority Seventy of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints speaking to them directly about the love of the Saviour, the blessings of being part of His Church, and the future impact of a dedicated temple in this Pacific nation. Pacific Area President of the Church of Jesus Christ and General Authority Seventy, Elder Peter F. Meurs, was visiting Papua New Guinea when the country’s National Broadcasting Company invited him to be interviewed live on the national radio network that covers the entire nation.
