Members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in western suburbs of Auckland, New Zealand learned this week of the great work being done by their Baptist neighbors following devastating floods in their area over recent days.
A group of Latter-day Saint volunteers brought bedding, food and other supplies this week to the Ranui Baptist Church to add to their emergency storehouse for flood victims to access over the coming days.
One Latter-day Saint said that when they heard of the service the Baptist community was offering, she and others thought it would be a good idea to combine resources and work together so they could help more people.
