Parents, youth leaders and other friends came along to lend their support.
“Meeting Tents” organized by spiritual themes (prayer, blessings, praise, testimony, fellowship) welcomed small groups of youth. Each tent was hosted by a different denomination offering opportunities to learn about others’ faith.
Then an interfaith concert brought together the choirs of each church and a shared music group ("Himene Amui"), made up of youth from all denominations.

TEHAU Tuki (Catholic Church): “The tents were a time of sharing and unity. We put our religions aside to unite our faith in Jesus Christ. The concert, despite the rain, was a unique moment. Faith can break all barriers.”
TAHARIA Asahela (Seventh-day Adventist): “Tonight, Jesus acted. We didn’t sing for ourselves, but for Him. Glory to God for what He has accomplished today.”
TETUANUI Maleani (Protestant Church): “Thank you Lord for this gathering. We are one family in Him. Thanks to all who made this possible.”
UEVA Teraiarii (Community of Christ): “Different Churches, different names, but one and the same Christ. Let us be united in this diversity for our Savior Jesus. I love you all, take care.”
CHUNG-TIEM Tehina (The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints): “Through storm and tide, the Lord made it a night of miracles, joy, and unity. Nothing is impossible for the One who knows all.”
Leaders from the churches shared their feelings about the gathering:
VAITOARE Alexandre (Community of Christ): “United in Christ, youth at the centre and in joy. Amen.”
MAROTAU Hinatea (Ma’ohi Protestant Church): “Thanks to all the leaders for their commitment and faith. Thanks to God for making this event possible in Māòhi Nui. The tents were enriching, without denominational labels, carried by energetic and brotherly youth. What we experienced wasn’t just interfaith—it was a gathering of youth who believe in God.”
ORTAS Manava (Adventist Church): “Dear all, the Lord is glorified through each of you... Our young people deeply appreciated the sharing moments in the tents. Before being artists, we are worshippers—and our youth showed that. Our Adventist leaders present were very moved. Glory to God.”
Elder Frédéric Riemer (The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints): “For a first edition and given the poor weather, I think it was a success. We felt a great organization, a strong spirit, and above all, a youth united in Christ.”
TEHEI Boniface (Catholic Church): “I experienced a unique moment organizing this event. Everyone contributed their stone and cement to build this project of faith. Let’s not forget that God is the true architect. That day, we were all lights in a world sometimes darkened by hate. What joy to see youth in our Churches still strongly believing in our Lord Jesus Christ. The tents were sincere spaces of expression. As I passed through, I saw in the youth’s faces a simple and deep joy of being together. As for the concert... it was a true moment of praise. After weeks of preparation, seeing our youth on stage, engaged and joyful, was a huge blessing. Thank you, Lord, for this breath of unity. And bravo to the whole organizing team. You’ve planted something great.”
Leaders and many youth and young adults agreed that they wanted to make this an annual event to strengthen faith in Jesus Christ across French Polynesia.
