Father Of Eight Fights for Youth

National Rugby League players fight to help end youth crime

Ben, with only four weeks preparation, was the underdog to the younger opponent, with no one expecting him to finish the first round.

Undeterred, Ben fought hard to the end of the match, however, the win went to Papilii.  Despite the result, Hannant was pleased with the way he fought.

After the fight Ben said, “We’re up here to help (end) youth crime, getting them to put their efforts to boxing or football..."

Ben had Church member and former Queensland and Australian Heavy Weight Champion, Will Nasio, help him with his training and sparring.

Ben said, “I want to teach my eight beautiful children, if you work hard and put your mind to it, you can do anything.”
