Families Are A Fundamental Unit of Society

Families are the most important part of our earthly life and are at the centre of Heavenly Father’s plan for His children, wrote Avarua Cook Islands District President Tamatoa Jonassen in The Cook Island News recently.

The family is the most fundamental and important unit in society. Even our Saviour Jesus Christ was born into this mortality into a family.

President Jonassen says that in this modern mortal world of uncertainty and turmoil, where disaster and unrest dominate our newsfeeds, our relationship with our family and our Heavenly Father should be treasured and nurtured.
