Elder Nattress Shares How Individuals Can Assist the People of Tonga Following Natural Disaster

“The worldwide outpouring of love for the people of Tonga since the 15 January volcanic eruption and tsunami has been deeply appreciated,” said Elder K. Brett Nattress of the Pacific Area Presidency of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, this week.

“If members of the Church in other countries wish to help the people of Tonga, we recommend that you donate to the Church’s humanitarian fund or another humanitarian charity of your choice. Prayers and posted messages of love and support are also very much appreciated.”
