The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints hosted Fiji Government Minister for Women, Children and Poverty Alleviation, the Hon Rosy Akbar, at a cancer awareness event on Saturday.
Speaking to women, Minister Akbar encouraged them to "be bold" and to "take ownership" of their health by getting medical checks.
Government and health officials joined other guests for the event which was held at the LDS Primary School.
