VIDEO: Auckland Symphony Orchestra and Church Choir Share Christmas Spirit

Packed house at Auckland Town Hall celebrates birth of Christ through music

The themes at last night's annual Christmas concert with the Auckland Symphony Orchestra and guest choir from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, were Christ, family and community.

The orchestra, led by the talented and entertaining Peter Thomas, was in outstanding form.

At times they captivated the crowd with delicate renditions of Christmas standards, and at others, they encouraged hearty audience participation.

Choir conductor, Ivoga Green, did a masterful job bringing the best out of the polished Latter-day Saint choir and impressive soloist Sarah-Jane Auva'a.
