Auckland Conference will Explore Human Dignity and Freedom of Religion or Belief

Delegates at a law and religion conference in Auckland this weekend will explore the theme: “Freedom to Do, to Be, and to Become: Enhancing Individuals' Opportunities to Believe and Live as They Choose Within the Framework of the Law.”

The law and religion regional conference, sponsored by Brigham Young University and Waikato University is bringing together judges, lawyers, government officials, faith leaders, and academics from New Zealand, Australia, the United States, and other countries.

Organisers hope the sessions will spark conversations and action that will align with principles of human dignity, principled pluralism, and fairness and respect for all.
