Apostle Meets with Vanuatu Latter-day Saints

Elder Gary E. Stevenson of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints met with leaders, members, missionaries and guests of the Church this week in Port Vila, Vanuatu.

Elder Stevenson is visiting the South Pacific this week with his wife, Lesa Stevenson. He was accompanied to Vanuatu by Elder Ian S. Ardern of the Seventy, and Elder Adolf Johansson, Area Seventy.

Elder Stevenson's remarks included the encouragement to pray, to share the Gospel and a reminder that God will help us with our concerns, big and small.
