    'Light The World' Christmas Initiative Launched by Fiji Government Minister

    Fiji Minister for Women, Children and Poverty Alleviation, Rosy Akbar, spoke recently at the launch of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints' "Light the World" Christmas initiative.

    The initiative invites all to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ through worship, and service to others. This year's theme is "Light the world with love."

    "This Christmas let's do all we can to bring a smile to somebody's face," said Akbar.  "Helping each other out is everyone's responsibility."
