A group of young women from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints recently made and donated items to Majuro hospital’s pediatric ward.
The young women, from congregations in Jenrok, Uliga and Delap, wanted to make items that could be donated to children at the hospital.
In their spare time over several weeks they designed and created their projects in time for Christmas.
The gifts included quilts, pillow cases and curtains.
The week before Christmas the young women arrived at the hospital with their creations. They visited with the children and sang Christmas carols.
The youth group not only learned to sew, but were excited to use their new talents to serve others.
