VIDEO: Pacific Area Leaders Lead Weekend of Love with Wellington Latter-day Saints

"We should turn to Jesus Christ for comfort, peace, guidance and power."

Last month, members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Wellington, New Zealand had a unique experience with a visit from all three members of the Area Presidency and their wives.

Attending were:

Elder Ian S. Ardern, President and his wife, Sister Paula Ardern; Elder K. Brett Nattress, First Counselor and his wife, Sister Shawna Nattress; Elder Kazuhiko Yamashita, Second Counselor and his wife Sister Tazuko Yamashita. They were joined by Elder Alistair Odgers, Area Seventy, and his wife Sister Noeline Odgers.

The Pacific Area Presidency led a meeting on Saturday 20 March of over 200 leaders from four stakes (groups of congregations) from Wellington, Upper Hutt, Porirua and Palmerston North.

On Sunday, they attended worship services in four different locations and held an inspirational devotional for more than 300 youth that evening.
