VIDEO: Looking Forward to October General Conference in the South Pacific

Latter-day Saints from the South Pacific explain what General Conference is, and what it means to them

Members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Australia, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea and the island nations and territories of the South Pacific are looking forward to the faith's semi-annual general conference on 2-3 October. 


In the following videos, a few Latter-day Saints share their thoughts about general conference, modern-day prophets and apostles, and how faith in Jesus Christ helps them in their lives. 

Livia Ryter, from Brisbane, Australia, is about to begin an 18 months mission with The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Alavina Lealiiee, also from Brisbane, Australia, is a lay leader in her congregation, helping children and families. In this video she too talks about how general conference helps her.
