Vanuatu Daily Post Reports on Elder Bednar Visit

"Elder Bednar taught those in attendance to 'centre their lives on Jesus Christ' and 'be kind and welcoming to all people.'"

Vanuatu's main newspaper, the Daily Post, reported on Elder David A. Bednar's recent visit to the country.

Elder Bednar is a member of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and has been visiting Australia, Solomon Islands, Vanuatu and Fiji in recent days.

The Daily Post reported that "Elder David A. Bednar, a member of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, met with around 1,500 LDS members [Latter-day Saints] and friends on Tuesday evening at the Warwick Le Lagon Hotel.

"Elder Bednar taught those in attendance to 'centre their lives on Jesus Christ' and 'be kind and welcoming to all people.'"

The report continued: 

“We are members of Christ’s Church to be changed,” he said. “We are members of His Church to be transformed into disciples of the Lord.

“Pray for the Holy Ghost to help you be the best person you can be.”
