Missionaries called to Tonga Show Their Excitement

Fifteen New Missionaries Arrive in Tonga

Fifteen new missionaries for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints arrived in Nuku'alofa, Tonga on 21 August.  Their excitement and nervousness were palpable as they surveyed the beautiful tropical surroundings which would be home for the next two years.

These missionaries will be in the very capable hands of experienced and faithful missionaries like Elder Pulu, who is serving in the Tongan Mission Office in Nuku'alofa.

Young men and women, 18-26 years old, as well as seniors, serve for 18 months to two years when they are called on missions for the Church.  Their mission call may take them to many parts of the world.
