Elder Vaiangina Sikahema, a General Authority Seventy in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, originally from Tonga and living in the United States of America, spoke to a worldwide audience at the faith’s October General Conference this past weekend (October 2-3).
“Repentance is sequential,” he said. “It begins with faith in Jesus Christ, even if just a particle. Repentance requires humility, which is an essential part of having a broken heart and a contrite spirit.”
