A new video created as an introduction to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in New Zealand was shown at a devotional on leadership held in South Auckland Sunday evening, 26 March 2017.
The featured speakers at the event were Elder David J. Thomson, Area Seventy in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and Mr Andrew Little MP, Leader of the Opposition in New Zealand Parliament. Among the guests were other Members of Parliament, diplomatic and faith leaders, and City officials.
The short video produced by David Snell, a communications student from Brigham Young University who is completing a three months internship in New Zealand, highlighted some historical and current contributions to New Zealand society by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and its 112,000 New Zealand members.
