A group of workers from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints’ Pacific administration office in Auckland changed into their gardening clothes recently to lend a hand to park rangers at Long Bay Regional Park.
According to organiser, Claire Young, “It was a beautiful morning.”
“We exceeded the expectations of the park ranger who kept us busy replenishing our mulch supply.”
The group weeded and mulched in the morning, before lunch, and then returned back to their offices.
