Among the BYU Living Legends, who wowed audiences at two performances last weekend at LDS Church College, were three cast members with Samoan ancestry. One, Filemoni Tiatia, was featured in the Samoa Observer.
His visit to Samoa was the perfect time for him to meet his grandmother, Lautele Nautu from Lalomalava Savai’i and to give back to his people and ancestors, reported the Observer.
“My grandma has always inspired me to get an education and I know she has made so many sacrifices for me to be where I am today,” he said.
