"The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints held their Youth Conference for young women and young men, starting on Wednesday,” the Samoa Observer reports this week.
The conference was for youth from the Pesega, Samoa Stake of the Church. A stake is a group of Latter-day Saint congregations from a geographical area.
"Every year the youth always gather together for their conference. The theme for this youth conference was ‘Stand in Holy Places.’”
“Doris Tea the president for young women identified the importance of having these conference every year, in that it helps the young ones to start building up their spirituality.”
