Volunteers from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints spent last Saturday gardening for the ‘Meals on Wheels’ organisation.
Coordinator of the ‘Mormon Helping Hands’ activity, Brett Davey, said, "Meals on Wheels do a lot in the community and they really are unsung heroes. We spent three hours doing this garden for them but they serve the community every day.
"We planted some shrubs and mulched the garden but we'll come back at a later date to put a water drip feeder in for them."
