Conferences take place twice each year, over a weekend. Last Saturday and Sunday (5-6 April), the April General Conference took place.

Church leaders, both men and women, shared messages of love, uplift and inspiration, centered on the life and teachings of the Saviour.

Although the talks and music are broadcast world-wide, the messages can be very personal and individually inspiring, often giving support and encouragement for the challenges of life.

Aejah Masiasomua from Henderson, New Zealand, said, “I always love watching general conference. I find that whenever I listen with my heart, I find Christ at the centre. Answers to questions I didn't even know I had come through the whisperings of the [Holy] Spirit and I always leave with a stronger relationship with my Saviour and my Heavenly Parents.”

Families and friends of all faiths are invited to watch general conference to enjoy the beautiful music and the spoken word.

Vaepopua Niupalau, a young New Zealander, said, “I watch general conference to receive guidance and revelation that the Lord has for me during this time. I know each session is catered to what we’re experiencing now in the world and is loving counsel from a loving Heavenly Father.”

Rebroadcasts will be available in Latter-day Saint meetinghouses across the world and on TV and radio across the South Pacific. A full schedule for each country is available by clicking here.
