    VIDEO: New Zealand Latter-day Saint Leader in the Philippines Speaks about Typhoon Haiyan

    New Zealander, Elder Ian Ardern, a senior leader in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints currently serving in the Philippines Area Presidency of the Church, shared his thoughts this week about last week’s devastating Typhoon Haiyan.

      “It’s been a real challenging experience for them, but these Filipinos are faithful, resilient, courageous people,” he told KSL TV. “They do need help, and with that help, they’ll come back.”
