New Zealand Latter-day Saint Designer to Compete in 'World of Wearable Arts' Competition

Christeena MacDonad Paea of Timaru, New Zealand is a finalist in the Open Section of the World of Wearable Arts competition to be held in Wellington later this month.

This is the second time the Latter-day Saint mother of five has had a garment selected to be included in the prestigious fashion event.

Many of her artworks have spiritual themes, including words from scripture and church songs.

"My favourite scripture is in Luke 1:45,” she says.  “For blessed is she that believed…there shall be a performance of those things promised of the Lord."
