New Church Website for New Zealand and the Pacific Islands

The country website for New Zealand and the South Pacific Islands has had a major upgrade and was launched recently. The new website has much improved functionality and a modern appearance similar to LDS.org.

"Internet technology continuously changes, and the Church needed to keep pace so that people who view the site can find what they want quickly and to refresh the appearance in harmony with the central Church website" said Elder Tad R. Callister of the Seventy and Pacific Area President.

Paul Bennallack, Pacific Area Manager of Information and Communication Services, pointed out that "Visitors to the site will come away with a better impression of the Church. The information, articles, and links are more intuitive and easier to access." He added, "There are new features to allow Twitter and Facebook users to receive updates from the website as well as RSS feeds." The new country website was authored by staff in the ICS department at the Pacific Area Office in Takapuna, New Zealand.

Members who wish to submit articles for posting on the country website may email their submissions to Elder Pearce: This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. .
