Elder Taniela B. Wakolo, General Authority Seventy and a member of the Pacific Area Presidency of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, announced new leaders for the Nausori Fiji Stake (group of congregations) on 6 August 2023. He was assisted by Elder Damon Page, Area Seventy.

The next day, Elder Wakolo and Elder Paul B. Whippy of the Seventy met with Fiji’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, Honourable Biman Prasad. He was accompanied by the Minister for Women, Honourable Lynda Tabuya.
