Volunteerism is Alive and Well in Pago Pago, American Samoa
Volunteers clean and beautify park and lagoon
Members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Pago Pago, American Samoa, joined forces with others from the community to clean and spruce up the area near Lions Park at Pala Lagoon.

More than two hundred trash bags were filled with bottles, papers, foam cups, plastic and other rubbish found and collected by the volunteers.
Government and the local radio station expressed thanks to members of the Pago Pago West Stake of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints for donating their time and effort in being an influence for good in the community.
