Youth from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints gathered at their church building in Garren, Canberra recently to prepare 200 meals for individuals going through tough times in their city.
The Latter-day Saint teenagers cooked bolognaise sauce and Italian vegetable soup which they packed into 200 food packs. The packs were frozen for later use by the Red Cross Road House Service in providing meals to homeless individuals.
On the day the youth also cut and tied 18 fleece blankets which were given to St. Vincent de Paul to provide to people feeling the cold this winter.
