This month, Elder David A. Bednar, a member of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and his wife, Sister Susan K. Bednar, will arrive in the South Pacific to bear witness and spread the light of Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ.
Apostles of the Church of Jesus Christ have cherished their visits to the South Pacific and the opportunities they have been given to connect with Church members and communities across the world.

During a previous visit to the South Pacific, Elder Bednar expressed his appreciation for the warmth and welcome of the people.
“We love you, and we already look forward to the opportunity to return to be with you again,” Elder Bednar said. “The greatest part about any assignment we have is to meet the people. The greatest impression is the faithfulness of these Latter-day Saints. We’ve been in New Zealand, and in Australia and in a number of different cities. People live in very different circumstances, have a variety of challenges, but the way they address those challenges with faith is inspiring to Sister Bednar and me.”
Members and friends of the Church are welcome to hear the words of Elder Bednar at the following:
