Around 130 volunteers planted approximately 2,000 native plants in Napier, New Zealand last weekend.
Many of the volunteers were from groups including the All Saints Anglican Church, Biodiversity Hawke’s Bay, Greenmeadow Kindergarten, and The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Napier City Councillor, Maxine Boag, posted about the missionaries from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints who lent a hand on the day, on her Facebook page.
She wrote: "I LOVE these guys, they are Elders in the Latter Day Saints Church and they want to help out on any community projects when they're available. A great spirit of giving and loving."
