Members of New Pacific Area Presidency Begin Service

Elder K. Brett Nattress, Elder Peter F. Meurs and Elder Taniela B. Wakolo are members of the new Pacific Area Presidency of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. They began their service in the Pacific Area Presidency on Monday 1 August, 2022.

Elder Nattress has served as a member of the Pacific Area Presidency for four years, and is now the Area President. He and his wife, Shawna, are from Idaho, USA.

Elder Meurs is from Perth, Australia, and is the First Counselor in the Pacific Area Presidency. He and his wife, Maxine, have been living in Hong Kong for the last three years as Elder Meurs served on the Asia Area Presidency of the Church.

Elder Wakolo and his wife Anita are from Fiji. They have been living in Manila for the past four years as Elder Wakolo served on the Philippines Area Presidency. Elder Wakolo is the new Second Counselor in the Pacific Area Presidency.

Members of area presidencies are General Authority Seventies or Area Seventies. Area presidencies consist of a president and two counselors who operate from area offices in each assigned area.
