Mrs Sulu Kama, spokesperson for the Church in Fiji, said the movie was well received and the audience showed their pleasure by clapping at the conclusion of the screening.
Mrs Rosy Akbar, Fiji's Minister for Women, who attended with her daughter, said, "It was one of the best movies in recent times."
“The key message of this movie was ‘service before self’ and it was a timely message for society and everyone should watch it,” she said.
Member of Parliament, Dr Brij Lal, said, “Viewing the film has widened my thinking and understanding. We appreciate the work done by members of your church worldwide.”
“I loved the movie,” Afea of Fiji TV said as she exited the theatre. She said discussions will be held with Fiji TV management with respect to the possible screening of the movie on a Sunday afternoon.
Last week Mrs Kama was interviewed about the movie on Radio Fiji One. She said the movie had been rated “G” in Fiji and is for all family members, young and old.
"The movie tells the stories of six ordinary members of the Church doing extraordinary things in their lives," she said. "It shares their successes, challenges and especially their faith in God and their commitment to the teachings of the gospel of Jesus Christ."
