General Conference is a biannual, global event of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints “where we are able to listen to inspiring messages about Jesus Christ,” says twenty-two-year-old Cook Islander, Marie Bataillard.

For young adults like Marie, from Rarotonga, General Conference is a time of inspiration, reflection, and renewal.
“To me, General Conference is an opportunity to be reminded of what really matters most,” she says.
“It’s a time to reflect and receive personal counsel, guidance, and revelation from my Heavenly Father. It’s like a verbal roadmap for how I can navigate my life.”
Marie prepares for the conference by attending a broadcast in her local Latter-day Saint meetinghouse, bringing a notebook, and coming with a question in mind. “The environment helps me focus better,” she says.
“Some messages have motivated me to change and improve, while others have brought comfort during difficult times,” she says. “Most importantly, General Conference has deepened my relationship with my Heavenly Father and my Saviour, Jesus Christ.”
The April 2025 General Conference will be held on Saturday, 5 April, and Sunday, 6 April (Utah, USA time) and can be viewed live online at this website and the Church’s YouTube channel.
Rebroadcasts will be available in Latter-day Saint meetinghouses across the world and on TV and radio across the South Pacific on Saturday, 12 April, and Sunday, 13 April. Prime TV in New Zealand will air a session on 20 April. A full schedule for each country is available by clicking here.
Conference sessions will also be available to watch and download in English, Tongan, Samoan, French, Tahitian, Fijian, Hindi-Fijian, Kiribati, Bislama, Marshallese, Auslan, Te reo Māori, and Tok Pisin here.
